Ink Masters
HANDPAINTED BILBOARD, TIMES SQUARE
In preparation for the Ink Master: Rivals 5th season premier on Spike TV, Sheryo and I were selected as guest artists to spray-paint gigantic tattoo designs on an interactive billboard that was displayed in the middle of Times Square.
The billboard is one of the longest in New York City’s history stretching 400 feet across.
Similar to an actual tattoo session, I painted the outline on first then added the fills the next day, the project took place over the span of three nights, and the public was able to watch the progression of the artwork as it was created live.
